Go Platinum!
We are pleased to announce the results of a recent product test by readers of
the essential baby product buying publication Baby & Toddler Gear. LilyPadz®
was awarded the the highest award (Platinum Award) for Best Breast Pad.
The testers were looking for the following qualities in their review: the
prevention of leaking, discreetness, convenience, cost effectiveness, comfort
and safety. LilyPadz® received top marks for all criteria’s gaining the top
accolade.
LilyPadz breast pads are the only nursing pads on the market that is
non-absorbent and prevents leaks in between a mothers nursing routine. The pads
work by placing gentle pressure on the nipple to stop the let down of milk and
preventing the leak.
LilyPadz® are extremely comfortable to wear, many mothers even forget they are
wearing them. The pads are made of thin, soft, flexible and breathable silicone
and act like a second skin. They protect the nipple from excess moisture,
rubbing and sticking, commonly experienced with cotton pads.
Because LilyPadz® are made of a transparent material, they are very discrete to
wear and are virtually undetectable under clothing allowing mothers more fashion
freedom to wear lingerie and clothes they want, with out the leaks or bulkiness
of regular pads.
Apart from the convenience and comfort that they provide, they are likely to be
cost effective too, because most breastfeeding mothers can spend between five
and ten pounds per month on disposable breast pads, and since LilyPadz® are
re-useable, they eliminate the need to buy new breast pads on a regular basis.
A recent LilyPadz® clinical trial has proven the safety of LilyPadz®, finding
their use does not create or increase breastfeeding complications. Midwives and
lactation consultants support the use of LilyPadz® and LilyPadz® regularly
